UTAH REGIONAL

We had a great time at the Utah Regional! This is one of our favorite weekends of the year!

We were the first team to pass inspection and get out on the practice field!

This is our awesome drive team and coach! We finished the weekend as the top team from Utah.

We are a smaller team compared to most, so we rely on all team members to help with scouting. Who are we going to join in the finals?! Its top secret!

This picture was taken right after we helped score the highest score in ALL of the qualification matches!

We had some great runs! We came out of the qualifications in 5th place!

So excited for the final rounds!

This is such a fun weekend!

Our pit crew had A LOT of down time this year. They weren't busy at all!  This is a good problem to have.  They only had to do minimal maintenance. Thank you pit crew for being ready!

We were asked by the #2 seat, team 2122 to join their alliance! YES! We really had fun during some VERY TENSE final matches!  We worked well with 2122 and got some great stacks! We made it past the semi finals into the finals!

The highlight of the weekend was meeting Dean Kaman! He signed our robot!

We are looking forward to more Recycle Rush in Phoenix Arizona!

Bagged and Tagged!!

WE ARE DONE!!!  We finished strong and had a great build season. No regrets!  Looking forward to the Salt Lake Regional!

 Bagged and Tagged!

 Great work Team 3230 PrototypeX!

Last Saturday.... DONE.

Its hard to believe we finished the last Saturday of build season for 2015! We are all VERY tired, but also very excited to move on to the regional in Salt Lake City.  Once again, everyone worked hard to finish out strong.

Lack of sleep might have made some of us a little silly.

Coach Keith took a turn driving.... we are going to stick with our drive team.

We won't show any pictures of the robot yet, but we are pretty excited to show it off in Salt Lake!

ONE WEEK LEFT!!!

It seems like this build season has gone so quickly! We only have one week left! We are all working hard as the final hours are winding down!

Here is a picture of our robot!!!  Looks great, doesn't it?!

How do we move these bins?

How many PrototypeX team members can we fit in an elevator?

This is a team picture we got yesterday.

Good luck on the last week!!

FLL Regionals

Way to go FIRST LEGO League teams! It is always fun to volunteer at regional events. Here are a few pictures of our team helping at the events.

Thanks for letting PrototypeX team members be a part of your experience!

Week One... DONE!

We have finished week one of the build season.  Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to!  Thats right, we aren't showing you anything about our robot! Everything is TOP SECRET!!

We are having a lot of fun!

We do have a few strategy sessions planned for our mock field.

We have great parents that are willing to help with anything we need!

We also have the BEST coaches and mentors.

Only 60 days until we can pull out the pink hard hats at the SLC Regional!!

Happy build season!  The rest is TOP SECRET!

2015 KICK OFF!!!

Recycle Rush!  What?!  The FRC has changed the rules, the robot sizes, and the feeling of the game! We will not really be having a lot of interaction with the robots on the opposing team. This will be a very interesting challenge.  Here we are at our first meeting after finding out what the challenge would be.  The more we planned and talked, the more excited we have become!

Here is a little video showing what FRC has envisioned for the competition.

Happy build season!
