PrototypeX Hosts SLC 4-H Scrimmage

PrototypeX hosted an FLL scrimmage at Entheos Academy December 14, 2013. PrototypeX team members served as referees, judges, and robot help mentors, while FLL teams got a taste of what to expect at regional competitions.

Games in a nutshell.

In January FRC announces what the "game" will be. Every team will then have 6 weeks to design and build their robot for competition. This is a very intense 6 weeks! In 2014 the competition was called Arial Assist. The robots were put into a team of 3 robots. Then, they tried to score points against the other team. Points are scored by making the ball go through the upper goals, a goal in the corners on the floor, passing the ball from robot to robot, passing the ball from human player to robot, or by throwing the ball over a truss in the middle of the field.
