PrototypeX Visits the Capitol

PrototypeX had a memorable experience sharing what they do with members of the Utah State Legislature on Friday, February 7th.  Our team is grateful for the support that we received at the event.

E-WEEK PRESENTATION:  Team 3230 PROTOTYPE X
MONDAY, February 17th
CR 304
11:00 am to 12:00 pm
PrototypeX is invited to share their robot with Northrop Grumman Employees during E-Week. Northrop Grumman is a first year sponsor for PrototypeX.  Coach Keith Schramm and other Northrop Grumman employees have helped mentor the team this year.  Thank you Northrop Grumman!
While the build team is busy building a bot, our business team is busy building other kinds of projects.
Almost always a dilemma......how much does the robot weigh?  Early on, we already started counting ounces.
The build season last from kick-off day, January 4th, to stop build day, February 18th.

Six weeks of cutting, crafting, wiring, and programming the robot.  It is the shortest and longest six weeks of the year.
This year the challenge involves throwing a 24" diameter exercise ball through a goal.  It is helpful to have a goal to practice shooting through.
